Who we are
Help in the Home was formed in 2005 by Cheryl Cohan. Cheryl has worked in the health care industry for 30 plus years and is enthusiastic about the provision of care services.
Cheryl is vision impaired and conducts her business in a way that ensures a level of care that she would be satisfied with for herself.
A client-centred approach is extremely important at Help in the Home. We seek out both formal and informal feedback in order to maintain continuous improvement in the quality of our services.
Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Regulation and the Privacy Act is of paramount significance at Help in the Home.
As Consumer Directed Care (CDC) is introduced into the aged care sector, Help in the Home can assist older persons in providing this service.
Help in the Home signs Service Level Agreements with Aged Care Providers to ensure all requirements and obligations relating to care are met.
